MY HISTORY
Well I started riding when I was 5yrs old , 14yrs ago
I started my first lessons at South Wind Stables
I took English and Jumping lessons at the there...
I did lessons 3 times a week at South Wind Stables.
Then I had private lessons at Double S Acres with Sue Smith
I did that for a year. Then in 1999 i got my first horse
on Christmas day. Then I took lessons with Alicia Fraser for
English. I also took saddle seat lessons with Peter Axtell.
I did English for 4 yrs..
Then I started Western Pleasure lessons With John Talbot
I took lessons on his horse Cody ( talk sweet about me)which we bought from him, We also bought another horse from him which was named Drew ( Zippos cattin around ). Then I took lessons from Melissa Kanna for western lessons also. I did western pleasure for 2 yrs in a row
Then I started barrel racing with John Talbot I rode his horse Arrow at the Hardford fair for the first time and also the Tioga County Fair.
Then I started taking lessons with Don and Amy light
I took lessons with them for 4 yrs in a row
I bought my first barrel horse from them Scat , I ran her for 2 yrs by herself , then I bought another horse from them Twist took lessons with her also at Donny and Amy's. Both my horses qualified for Youth Worlds I placed in the top 200 out of 1200 people. Which was in 2006. Then I qualified this year for next year in 3 divisions
Also I started 2 horses on the barrel pattern just to start this season 2008.. They are both in good progress... Ever since I started barrels when i was 11 and I never wanted to give give up.. Two years ago I started giving barrels lessons to Corey, Rina, Kayla , Daisy , and Cora I also took them to Shows and did lead line with Daisy on Socks then Cora rode Socks walk trot in barrels.. The last barrel shows Cora and Daisy rode CC, Then I helped Rina at the Harford Fair when She ran her horse Gunner. Then I gave Kayla riding lessons on CC for western.. Then I taught my brother how to ride barrels and he took Reserve and Grand Champion this year
His First Year ever riding barrels, He also rode Poles and Bleeding heart. Ever since I did barrel racing and taught kids how to ride I never want to give it up !!
